The purchaser could choose his own specification of engine and running gear. The Riley 1.5 being the most popular but other options included MGA, Ford and Morris 1000. In 196 the company launched the Ph.2 version with the opening rear hatch and disc brakes. 250 Ph.1 and 150 Ph.2 had been sold.

This specific example was first registered in 1970 and fitted with a 1.8L MG engine. Being the Ph.2 this car boasts disc brakes and the opening rear hatch.

In 2003 the car was subject to thorough work at Scholar Racing, having a full body restoration, all glass fitted and the doors were re-hung.

The Olympic is currently in a restored state with minor finishing touches needed.
